Forecast for fiscal year 2020/2021:
Net income expected in a range of EUR 1,800 - 2,100 thousand

tick Trading Software AG (tick-TS AG) believes it is well equipped for the current 2020/2021 financial year (01.10.2020 - 30.09.2021) despite the Covid-19 pandemic.
The high volatility triggered by the Corona pandemic in the 1st quarter of 2020 and the resulting increase in trading activity on the stock markets has so far continued in the current 2020/2021 financial year. However, tick-TS AG is only partially participating in the high trading activity with the load-dependent variable revenue generated as a result, as most of its customers have a fixed or hybrid settlement model.
The ongoing Covid 19 pandemic continues to influence social and economic life, as well as trading activity on the stock exchanges. The medium- and long-term consequences as well as the associated political and economic measures are currently not yet foreseeable. Since the beginning of the pandemic, this increased market uncertainty has led to a postponement of investment decisions by new and existing customers until the current fiscal year 2020/2021.
For the further development of its product portfolio and the timely implementation of stock market releases and projects, tick-TS AG plans to hire four additional employees in the areas of development, project management and system operations in the 2020/2021 financial year.
The planning of tick Trading Software AG and all statements on future development are based on assumptions that appear probable from a planning perspective, but still remain subject to uncertainty in the current market situation. Assuming a stable regulatory environment and the continuation of increased trading activity on the stock exchanges, the Executive Board is cautiously optimistic that it will be able to achieve net income of EUR 1,800 - 2,100 thousand in fiscal year 2020/2021.
